Ghanaian dazzler Kelvin Ofori gets late winner to earn Spartak Trnava win against Komarno

Kelvin Ofori (23) scored a dramatic goal as Spartak Trnava clinched a crucial 3-2 victory over KFC Komarno in a pulsating outstanding round three match of the 2024-25 Slovakia top flight (Nike Liga) encounter on Wednesday evening.

Roman Prochazka gave the hosts the lead in just four minutes, but Komarno were level 16 minutes later through the imperious Jakub Sylvestr.

Cameroonian striker Christian Bayemi added another to make it 2-1 before half time. However, Kelvin Ofori drew Spartak’s level with a well-worked goal in the 81st minute.

Michal Duris restored Spartak’s lead with a sublime volley three minutes later (84th minute) to grab all three points for Michal Gašparík’s side and send the away fans into delirium.

Ofori, a silky Ghanaian winger has been in superb form in the ongoing campaign, scoring four goals in eight appearances in the Slovakian top tier league.
