ENGLAND

Abdul Fatawu Issahaku made the line up while Jordan Ayew came off the bench in Leicester City’s 1-3 home loss to Nottingham Forest last Friday night.

In the League 1, Kwame Poku lasted the entire duration but wasn’t enough for Peterborough United who lost 1-0 away at Bolton Wanderers.

Tariqe Fosu was on target to help Northampton Town humble Jojo Wollacott’s Crawley Town by 3-0.

In the League 2, former Black Stars winger Albert Adomah was a second half substitute for Walsall in their goalless draw away at Accrington Stanley

SPAIN

Rayo Vallacano’s Abdul Mumin got a red card but they still fought hard to secure a precious 1-0 home win over Deportivo Alavés.

Still in the La Liga, Joseph Aidoo was not in the squad for Celta Vigo in their 3-0 defeat away at CD Leganés.

Former Cheetah FC star Kwasi Sibo played 30 minutes for Real Oviedo in their 2-0 away loss at Cadiz in the La Liga II 

GERMANY

Sirlord Conteh was introduced in the last 20 minutes for Heidenheim who held TSG Hoffenheim to a goalless draw in the Bundesliga.

Ransford Yeboah Königsdörffer played 62 minutes for Hamburger SV who suffered a 4-2 defeat away at Elversberg in the Bundesliga II.

Christopher Antwi-Adjei wasn’t in Shalke O4 list again in their 3-4 home loss to Greuther Furth. 

In-form Ragnar Ache scored again to propel Kaiserslautern to a 3-4 away win against Fortuna Dusseldorf. Richmond Tachie was brought on in the second half. 

ITALY

Ibrahim Sulemana warmed the bench for Atalanta in their 6-1 home win over Hellas Verona in the Serie A.

Emmanuel Gyasi lasted the entire duration for Empoli in their 1-1 stalemate away at AS Parma at the Estadio Ennio Tardini.

Caleb Ekuban was out in Genoa’s squad in their 3-0 away loss at SS Lazio at the Stadio Olimpico. 

Both Alfred Duncan and John Yeboah all featured in Venezia’s 2-2 draw against AC Monza away from home.

Felix Afena-Gyan played full throttle for Juventus Next Generation in their 2-0 away defeat to Team Altamura in the Serie C. 

FRANCE

Augustine Boakye lasted 65 minutes for Saint Etienne but wasn’t enough as they lost 4-2 away at Angers. 

Stade Rennais recorded a slim 1-0 win over Le Havre. Ghanaian trio Alidu Seidu, Andre Ayew and Emmanuel Sabbi were all in action for both sides. 

AJ Auxurre held Olympique Lyon to a 2-2 at the Groupama Stadium. Ghanaian trio Gideon Mensah, Elisha Owusu were all in action while Ernest Nuamah warmed the bench.

OGC Nice defeated ten-man AS Monaco. Mohammed Salisu was out due to injury.

Godson Kyeremeh and Emmanuel Ntim were all in action for Caen who lost 0-1 at home to ES Troyes.

Nathaniel Adjei was a second half substitute for FC Lorient to a thrilling 3-3 stalemate with Rodez.

NETHERLAND

Ibrahim Osman played 78 minutes for Feyenoord in their 0-2 away win at FC Utrecht.

Ernest Poku and Jayden Addai were all in action for AZ Alkmaar in their pulsating 2-2 draw against Go Ahead Eagles in the Eredivise.

TURKEY

Joseph Attamah Larweh played all minutes for Kayserispor in their 0-1 away win at Hatayspor.

Kingsley Schindler played 60 minutes for Samsunspor who won 1-4 away at Kasimpasa.

Alexander Djiku played all minutes for Fenerbahçe in their 2-0 win over Bodrum FK. Musah Mohammed was also in action for the visitors.

SCOTLAND

Aaron Essel warmed the bench for St.Johnstone in their 1-2 away win over Dundee FC in the Scottish Premiership.

BELGIUM

Grejohn Kyei was in action for Sporting Charleroi in their 0-2 away win over OH Leuven.

Majeed Ashimeru and Francis Amuzu were all in action for Anderlecht who lost 2-1 away at Club Brugge. 

Christopher Bonsu Baah registered an assist for KRC Genk in their 0-2 away win at KAA Gent.

Abu Francis replaced Lawrence Agyekum and provided an assist for Cercle Brugge in their 1-3 away win against Union Saint-Gilloise. Mohammed Fuseini was also on target for the homesters 

SWITZERLAND

FC Basel annihilated Winterthur by 1-6 in the Swiss topflight. Both Jonas Adjei Adjetey and Emmanuel Essiam were all out of action.

Lawrence Ati-Zigi was in post when FC ST Gallen held FC Sion to a thrilling 2-2 draw.

Daniel Afriyie Barnieh and Kassim Adams were all in action for FC Zurich and Servette respectively in a game that ended 1-3 in favour of the visitors.

SWEDEN

Evans Botchway warmed the bench for Brommapojkarna in their 1-2 home loss to Kalmar FF. 

Michael Baidoo lasted the 74 minutes for Elfsborg in their 2-1 away win over AIK. His countryman Terry Yegbe warmed the bench.

Frank Junior Adjei played 63 minutes for Vaernamo in their 1-2 home defeat to IFK Norrkoeping.

Joseph Baffo played in the last seven minutes for Halmstads BK in their 0-1 win over BK Hacken.

CZECH REPUBLIC 

Patrick Kpozo was an unused substitute for Banik Ostrava in their 2-3 away win at Pardubice in the Czech topflight.

Benjamin Nyarko played the last 16 minutes for Slovan Liberec in their 4-0 win over Slovacko.

In-form Prince Kwabena Adu scored the only goal to propel Viktoria Plzen to an important 1-0 home win over Sparta Prague in undoubtedly the top liner for the week. 

AUSTRIA

Solomon Bonnah played 72 minutes for SK Austria Klagenfurt who managed a 2-2 against SCR Altach away from home.

Edmund Baidoo was a second half substitute for RB Salzburg in their goalless draw away against Wolfsberger AC.

GREECE

At the Toumba Stadium, Baba Rahman played only ten minutes for PAOK FC in their shocking 1-2 home loss to OFI Crete in the Greek Super League.

ROMANIA

Nana Kwame Antwi lasted the entire duration for Hermannstadt who lost at home by 2-0 against Dinamo Bucuresti.

Still in the Romanian topflight, Baba Alhassan played only 13 minutes FC Steaua Bucuresti who got held at home to a goalless draw by FC Rapid 1923.

Rahman Chibsah, Carl Davordzie and Emmanuel Osei Asibey all featured in CSM Ceahlâul’s painful 2-1 away loss against Voluntari in the Romanian first division.

CYPRUS

Former Benab FC midfielder Alex Opoku Sarfo excelled very well for Aris Limassol in their vital 2-1 win over Nea Salamina to move to the top of the Cypriot topflight.

MOLDOVA

Ghanaian quartet of Isaac Oppong, Nicholas Osei Bonsu, Rashid Abubakar and goalkeeper Andrews Owusu all featured for Spartanii Selemet in their 1-1 home draw against Balti in the Moldova Premier League.
