Former Minister of Railways Development, John Peter Amewu
A former Minister of Railways Development, John Peter Amewu, has been released after his arrest by National Security operatives on Tuesday, March 25, 2025.
Reports indicate that the former minister was questioned in connection with the $2 million Sky Train project initiated by the Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo led administration.
During a recent press conference, the Attorney General and Minister of Justice, Dr Dominic Akuritinga Ayine, disclosed that prosecutions regarding the project would begin in April 2025.
He further assured the public that suspects are cooperating with investigations, and efforts are underway to recover misappropriated public funds from those involved.
