President John Dramani Mahama
Some concerned residents of the Biakoye District in the Oti Region have made a heartfelt appeal to President John Dramani Mahama to appoint Dr. Richard Bisimpo as the District Chief Executive (DCE) of Biakoye.
Dr. Richard Bisimpo, a retired Fire Service Commander, is among the three individuals shortlisted for the DCE position. He is widely recognized within the district for his dedication, hard work, tireless service, and selfless commitment to the development of Biakoye.
The residents, who have thrown their support behind Dr. Bisimpo, strongly believe he is the ideal candidate to lead the district and steer its progress.
In an interview with the Ghana News Agency (GNA), Mr. Ahiable Mawuli, a resident of Tapa Abotoase, praised Dr. Bisimpo’s contributions over the years.
“He has consistently mobilized resources and support for the district’s development. The man genuinely has Biakoye at heart, and it is clear to us that such a dedicated person is exactly who we need as DCE,” he stated.
Another resident, Mahmoud Isah, highlighted Dr. Bisimpo’s numerous sacrifices and initiatives aimed at improving the district.
“Dr. Bisimpo has built an ultramodern computer laboratory for students in Kwamekrom and provided his three-bedroom, self-contained house to accommodate the headmaster of the Kwamekrom Community Day Senior High School.
He has also supported students with school supplies during exams. Additionally, he has facilitated the construction of boreholes in several communities and donated motorbikes, computers, and other essential items to strengthen the party’s operations,” Isah noted.
“The man is genuine and capable of transforming Biakoye better than any other candidate,” he added.
A party loyalist, Abdullai Mawusi, also commended Dr. Bisimpo’s unwavering commitment and made a passionate plea to John Mahama.
“We humbly appeal to President Mahama to appoint Dr. Bisimpo to help reset and develop Biakoye,” she appealed.
Meanwhile, investigations conducted by the GNA revealed that a significant number of individuals within the Biakoye District had expressed strong support for Dr. Richard Bisimpo, favoring him over other aspirants.
The residents are therefore urging President John Dramani Mahama to recognize Dr. Bisimpo’s remarkable contributions and grant him the opportunity to serve as the DCE, believing his leadership will usher in positive transformation for Biakoye.
