Confirmed team news, predicted lineup and injury latest for El Clasico

Barcelona remain without a host of key players for the first competitive edition of El Clasico of the season on Saturday night.

Hansi Flick takes his rampant Barca side to Real Madrid in LaLiga, knowing that a victory would open up a sizeable six-point gap on the current champions already. Their absentee list, however, is lengthy.

Marc Bernal and Marc-Andre ter Stegen are not expected to feature again this season, while Andreas Christensen is likely to be ruled out until the New Year.

Ronald Araujo and Eric Garcia may return before then but are not likely to make the trip to Madrid this weekend, while Ferran Torres is also out.

Gavi, however, is available again and made a late cameo in Wednesday’s big 4-1 win over Bayern Munich in the Champions League, along with Frenkie de Jong and Dani Olmo.

Predicted Barcelona XI: Pena; Kounde, Cubarsi, Martinez, Balde; Casado, Pedri, Fermin; Yamal, Lewandowski, Raphinha

Injured: Ter Stegen, Bernal, Christensen, Araujo, Garcia, Torres

Time and date: 8pm BST on Saturday October 26, 2024

Venue: Santiago Bernabeu, Madrid

TV channel and live stream: Premier Sports
