The case in which Samuel Adjei is being held for the murder of a queen mother at Nungua has been adjourned to March 26, 2025.

The adjournment was due to the absence of the judge.

Adjei is being held on charges of unlawful possession of firearms and murder.

The plea of the accused has not been taken.

Meanwhile, the police are preparing a duplicate docket for submission to the Office of the Attorney General for advice.

Adjei was arrested after Lawrencia Naa Borley Nelson, also known as Naa Gamu, a queen mother of the Ga Adangbe Muslim Union, died after being shot during her enskinment ceremony at Nungua in Accra.
