Manchester United fans can expect big changes this summer with Ruben Amorim set to mould his squad at Old Trafford.
The 2024-25 season is entering its final stretch and Manchester United fans surely can’t wait until the summer.
This has been another season to forget for United fans but Europa League success could at least bring some positivity.
United face Real Sociedad on Thursday night with a place in the quarter-finals up for grabs.
Ruben Amorim has played down the Europa League’s importance but a deep run in the competition would at least give United fans something to shout about.
Some will already be looking towards the summer though with Amorim needing to make sweeping changes to his squad.

Four Manchester United players set to leave
United need to offload players in order for Amorim to bring in the players he wants this summer.
Antony is impressing at Real Betis whilst we have surely seen the last of Tyrell Malacia, Jadon Sancho and even Marcus Rashford at United.
The Daily Mail now report that four players are expected to leave United – on free transfers.
Goalkeeper Tom Heaton, defenders Jonny Evans and Victor Lindelof as well as midfielder Christian Eriksen are all out of contract this summer.
It’s stated that all four players will be leaving the club with United seemingly holding no interest in extending their deals.
That may not come as a huge surprise to United fans, but it sounds like the planning for the summer has already started.
Victor Lindelof and Christian Eriksen bound to attract interest
Rangers considered signing Evans in January whilst 38-year-old Heaton may still attract some interest as a backup goalkeeper.
Lindelof and Eriksen are bound to attract major interest though with both players possessing great experience whilst still having enough in the tank to make an impact at a decent level.
Reports suggest that Benfica want to re-sign Lindelof on a free transfer this summer.
United signed Lindelof from Benfica for around £31million in 2017 but he could now return to Portugal for nothing.
Eriksen was targeted by Fenerbahce earlier this season and clubs around Europe are no doubt paying attention to his contract situation.
All four players mentioned here are in their 30’s and with United looking to focus more on younger players, these departures certainly make sense for the summer.
