Authorities have emphasized the urgency of this issue
Users of Honda vehicle owners in Ghana are being advised to verify whether their cars are part of an ongoing airbag recall due to safety concerns.
According to the Daily Graphic, the recall is part of a global safety initiative and affects specific Honda models manufactured between 2001 and 2015.
The initiative aims to address defective airbags that could pose serious risks to drivers and passengers in the event of deployment.
The vehicle owners in Ghana are urged to contact authorised dealerships or service centres for a free airbag replacement.
Authorities have also emphasised the urgency of this issue, as faulty airbags have been linked to safety hazards worldwide.
To determine if their vehicle is affected, owners can check their Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) at an authorised service centre.
