The Danish top division outfit have announced the capturing of the talented teenage sensation on a term expected to be a long deal from their Ghanaian-based Academy feeder club

Ghanaian teenager Prince Amoako Junior has joined Danish Superliga side FC Nordsjælland from Right to Dream Academy, the club have confirmed.

The 18-year-old promising talent is believed to have penned a five-year deal with the Right to Dream Park campaigners as per earlier report from the Danish media.

An official confirmation over his signing read: ”FC Nordsjælland has signed a contract with the 18-year-old Ghanaian talent, Prince Amoako Junior.

“Prince” is not completely unknown under FCN. He has had his football upbringing at the Right to Dreams academy in Ghana – and has shown signs of his great talent on several occasions. Both for our international academy together with players from FC Nordsjælland and most recently in the first training matches of the Superliga start this year.”

”But now the offensive player has committed himself to FC Nordsjælland and can officially call himself an FC Nordsjælland player. Prince will enter the Superliga squad directly, but we must be patient before we see him in action, as he is recovering from an injury.”

The Ghanaian budding prospect had this to tell his new side via the club’s official website: ”It feels really good to sign my first contract with FC Nordsjælland. Farum and FCN are already like a second home to me, which is why I couldn’t imagine a better place to start my professional career. I’m incredibly happy to be here. It’s a club and organizations that mean an incredible amount to me. Right to Dream and FCN are like family to me, and I already feel very comfortable here in Farum. It’s therefore fantastic that I’ve now been given the opportunity to become part of the Superliga team, where I’m sure I can continue my good development.  I’ll keep doing what I’m good at. I like being on the ball and entertaining the fans. And I’ll do everything to give my absolute best for this club and our fans. It’s going to be a dream come true when I step out onto Right to Dream Park for my first Superliga match, and I’m really looking forward to it.”

Sporting director Phil Radley added: ”Prince is a player who has shown great potential during his time at the Right to Dream academy in Ghana – both in terms of his qualities and performances on the pitch and his character and personality off the pitch. It is an important part of our foundation to have players like Prince in our Super League squad who have made the journey from our academy as it is an expression of how we work as an organisation. We are very grateful to both Prince and all the staff who have contributed to his journey so far. Prince will have a period of rehabilitation for a recent injury, so we do not yet know when he will be able to compete for playing time in the Super League. However, both Prince himself and the entire Super League staff will work hard to ensure that he is ready for success, whenever that happens.”
