Icardi with his ex-wife Wanda Nara
Wanda Nara, the ex-wife of former Argentina striker Mauro Icardi, is reportedly demanding a staggering €500,000 per month in financial compensation as she prepares for her divorce hearing from the Galatasaray forward.
The couple’s decade-long marriage, marked by multiple breakups and reconciliations, is now heading to court, with the first hearing set for March 11 in Milan.
The high-profile legal battle is expected to attract significant media attention, with cameras set to swarm the Milan courthouse as Nara and Icardi clash over financial settlements, child custody, and property division, according to reports from Corriere della Sera and RMC Sport.
According to Corriere della Sera, the 38-year-old TV presenter and former agent of Icardi is demanding substantial maintenance payments to sustain the luxurious lifestyle she became accustomed to during their marriage.
Icardi, represented by his lawyer Valeria De Vellis, is set to contest Nara’s financial demands in court.
Adding further intrigue to the case is the involvement of Argentine actress and model China Suárez, who was allegedly linked to Icardi in an affair that led to his initial split from Nara during his time at Paris Saint-Germain.
Suárez, now in a relationship with Icardi, is reportedly planning to move to Istanbul once he recovers from his knee injury.
Meanwhile, Icardi has launched a legal battle of his own, seeking custody of the couple’s daughters, Francesca and Isabella.
The former Inter Milan captain wants his daughters to join him in Istanbul, where he currently resides and plays for Galatasaray.
