Ghanaian actor Prince David Osei has mocked Ghanaians and members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) after President John Dramani Mahama revoked the appointments of some public sector workers during the early days of his tenure in office.

In a post shared on X, Prince David Osei predicted that by the end of February 2025, President Mahama would have sacked all public sector appointees under his government.

“Just cracking a joke, come on guys; everything shouldn’t be uptight. I am with you… a bit of humour, then you boys get vexed.

“Before the end of February, they will sack all our parents, uncles, aunties, sisters, and brothers in the public sector … I just love Ghana. What happened to ‘love your neighbour as thyself’?” he said.

Prince David Osei, who is also a staunch member of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), further questioned Ghanaians on how they are faring under the John Mahama-led administration.

He jokingly quizzed Ghanaians if they were enjoying all the goodies President John Dramani Mahama promised during his campaign.

“Ghana, how far? Are you enjoying the Mahama administration? I hear they are giving everyone milk and honey… 24/7 electricity and market women making outrageous sales? Everybody will be okay, right?” he added.

The statement from the actor has since sparked reactions on social media, with some netizens questioning the actor’s intelligence.
