The Osu Stool Council has officially endorsed Nii Nortey Adumuah, also known as Osiahene IV, as the traditional representative for the Korle Klottey Municipal Assembly (KKMA).
This declaration of support comes in response to allegations of opposition, which the council has firmly dismissed as unfounded.
In its statement, the council praised Nii Nortey Adumuah for his dedication to the Osu traditional area, highlighting his contributions to development and culture.
Through his businesses, he has created employment opportunities for the youth and helped equip them with essential skills.
Additionally, his investments in startups across Osu underscore his commitment to economic growth within the community.
The council also acknowledged his contributions to education, citing his role on the educational subcommittee and his implementation of various academic initiatives over the past three years.
These efforts, they argue, make him a well-qualified representative for the Osu traditional area in the municipal assembly.
Further reinforcing its stance, the Osu Stool Council emphasized that Nii Nortey Adumuah is a key figure within the Osu Amantra/Kinkanwe Dzaase and enjoys full backing from both the council and his Adjuwate clan.
The council rejected the nomination of other candidates, asserting that they lack the necessary traditional authority and legitimacy.
This development follows a previous decision by the Osu Kinka We Dzaase to suspend Nii Nortey Adumuah indefinitely, along with two others, over allegations of conspiring to install an imposter as Osu Mantse.
However, the latest statement from the Osu Stool Council appears to settle the matter, reaffirming his nomination and status.
With the council’s endorsement, Nii Osiahene’s candidacy receives a major boost, given the influential role the Osu Stool Council plays in the area’s traditional governance.
As the Korle Klottey Municipal Assembly prepares for its new representative, expectations are high for the positive impact Nii Osiahene’s leadership and expertise will bring to the Osu community.

OSU STOOL COUNCIL NOMINATES AND SUPPORT NII OSIAHENE AS TRADITIONAL REP FOR KKMA
The attention of the Osu Stool Council has been drawn to an article circulating online, which purports opposition to the nomination of Nii Nortey Adumuah to KKMA appointment.
Nii Nortey Adumuah, who is Osiahene IV of the Osu paramount stool and developmental and cultural advocate, has our full and unblemished support.
The Osu Stool Council, which is the traditional, non-governmental, meeting and council of traditional leaders of the four divisions of the Osu state, stands in support of his nomination.
Osu Amantra/Kinkawe Dzaase in full support:
From the online article, it is alleged that the Osu Kinkwanwe Dzaase opposes his nomination, with the opposition attributed to one Tetteyfio who styles himself as Nii Saban Atsen VII.
It is interesting to note that Nii Nortey Adumuah is an integral member of the Osu Amantra/Kinkanwe Dzaase and enjoys the full support of other members of Dzaase.
It is rather this Saban Atsen who has pulled away from the Dzaase and purports to act unilaterally, which is against the norms of the Dzaase, a collective and democratic body.
Nii Osiahene IV Support and Advocate:
Nii Nortey Adumuah – Osiahene has been an advocate for youth and entrepreneurship in the Osu traditional area, which should be commended and lauded for a traditional leader.
Not only does he have companies that employ youth and teach them skills, but he also invests in the start-up business of youth across the Osu state.
This is what we as a Council would want from all our members. This is the kind of personality we want representing us.
Additionally, Nii has been an astute champion of education. He has served on the educational subcommittee of the council and worked with the council to implement various academic and scholarstic projects in the last three years.
This is the kind of experience and foresight we, as a council, would like as our representative at the municipal assembly.
Nii Nortey Adumuah is unchallenged in his position as Osiahene and enjoys the full support of his clan, the Adjuwate clan of Osu.
He has dignified himself in this position and has stood for the truth and defended it all the time. For these unquestionable qualities, he has made alliances through many traditional areas in this country. This would have a meaningful and positive impact on Osu.
Destooled Nominees:
We reject the suggested persons in the article since those claims to nominate them have no such traditional authority to do such.
The so-called suggested nominees have been publicly and customarily destooled.
whiles the other is currently in court, they are sued by their respective clans they claim to represent, over his legitimacy as they do not recognise them. Clearly, this would not help the functioning of KKMA.
The Man Osiahene and Qualities
In normal times, Nii Nortey Adumuah as Osiahene IV to the paramount stool of Osu and hence incharge of palace administration and act in as a chief in absence of a substantive, is too high for such a position.
However, as we are bereft of more fitting candidates, and due to a need to expedite Osu’s development, he has distinguished himself, and we unwavering support the nomination of Nii Nortey Adumuah, Osiahene IV.
Signed
