Manchester United are planning a potential “player swap” involving Marcus Rashford and Bayern Munich midfielder Aleksandar Pavlovic, according to reports.
Caught Offside claim that the German international is seen as a player that the Red Devils could build their team around but they are aware that it would be difficult to prise him away from the Allianz Arena.
It is believed that Ruben Amorim’s side could offer Rashford plus cash in order to tempt Bayern into selling Pavlovic. Most fans on X agree it would be a massive coup if the club pull off the deal:

What do fans need to know about Pavlovic?
The 20-year-old is a holding midfielder by trade. He has already been capped 4 times by Germany at senior level, and his game time at Bayern has increased recently.
Pavlovic has been named in the starting lineup by manager Vincent Kompany in 5 of the last 6 league games.
Rashford’s future is out of United’s hands
It should be pointed out that Aston Villa do have an option in their loan deal to sign the 27-year-old on a permanent basis for £40m this summer.
United would not be able to use Rashford in any potential swap for Pavlovic if the Villans trigger their purchase clause, although they would still get a significant boost to their current transfer kitty.
