Another of Chelsea’s loanees was on show in the Champions League, however did not come away with a positive result.
Joao Felix started again for AC Milan, although they were defeated 1-0 by Feyenoord in the first leg of the playoff round.
The Portugal international made a very good impression on his debut, finding the net just minutes in and perhaps reminding the Blues of the quality they had not got the best out of this season.
AC Milan and Chelsea fans not impressed by Joao Felix in Champions League
Chelsea fans were quick to praise Felix after that game, however that opinion is beginning to change as his career in Italy kicks on.
It was supporters of Milan who were frustrated though as their side fell to defeat, with their newest addition not escaping criticism.

Chelsea fans seemed to agree with what the Italian club’s fans had to say, as they prepare for life without Felix for the rest of the season.
One fan said: “Joao Felix is just a juggler, that’s why people watch him and tell you he’s super talented, he’s very good at juggling the ball…..it’s evident he’s got minimal techniques whenever he steps on the pitch.”

Another backed this up with: “Felix struggled so badly with the games physicality. He was terrible.”

Finally, one stated: “2 average games in a row now.”
Chelsea are not set to be back in action in Europe until March, and they will be taking to the Conference League without some of their biggest contributors from the group stages.
Felix, Renato Veiga, Axel Disasi and Cesare Casadei started the majority of games in the competition, however have moved on for at least the rest of the season.
Chelsea missing Felix amid Nicolas Jackson injury news
Whether Felix was setting the world alight or not at Stamford Bridge, there would be some serious chances for regular minutes in the coming weeks if he had stayed.
Recent reports have ruled Nicolas Jackson out for more than a month, while Marc Guiu is also set to be missing for a fair amount of time.
Christopher Nkunku is a bit-part option to play in the striker position, however there would certainly have been a chance for Felix to play there if he hadn’t moved in January.
