The mercurial wideman assisted American international Haji Wright to open the scoring account having struck from close range in just four minutes from kickoff.

Thomas-Asante, who has four-goal involvements this season, was recently in Ghana’s squad that played against Sudan in the double header in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
