According to TV3 News, Ghanaian actor and comedian Benson Nana Yaw Oduro, widely known as Funny Face, has encouraged his fellow countrymen to place their faith in God during challenging times.

At a church gathering recently, Funny Face shared insights from his own life, recalling a period when he faced intense struggles, including severe depression that led him to consider suicide.

He expressed gratitude for God’s intervention, which he believes brought him healing.

He urged the audience to maintain their faith in God, no matter the hardships they may be enduring.

Using his own experiences as a testament, he emphasized the importance of surrendering one’s life to Christ.

Funny Face spoke candidly about his encounters with pain and suffering, affirming his belief in God’s presence in his life.

He recounted his experiences, including time spent in a psychiatric facility and a period of incarceration, reinforcing his message that with faith, one can continue to fight and achieve victory.

“I have seen pain and seen suffering. There is God and I have encountered God. I have been to the psychiatric hospital; I’ve spent days in prison…I will tell you that with God we are still fighting and we will be victorious,” he noted.

The actor has faced significant personal challenges, particularly following his breakup with his partner, Vanessa, which deeply affected him and contributed to his mental health struggles.

He was also involved in a serious accident last year that resulted in legal troubles.

Despite these hardships, Funny Face has shown signs of recovery and appears to be in a much better place recently, having moved past the pain of his divorce.
