FC St. Gallen 1879 is turning heads in Switzerland with the thrilling addition of 20-year-old winger Enoch Owusu, who has officially joined the team on loan from Inter Milan.
Owusu, an Italian-Ghanaian dynamo, is ready to showcase his skills in professional training and is set to gain crucial match experience with the club’s U21 team. The Swiss outfit also holds an enticing option to make his transfer permanent in the future.
Having honed his craft in Inter Milan’s youth academy, Owusu recently wrapped up a loan at Novara FC in Serie C, where he made four appearances and provided a standout assist.
His impressive stats come from his time in Primavera 1 with Inter’s U19 squad, where he lit up the field with ten goals and four assists over 57 games.
“We’ve had our eyes on Enoch for quite a while now. He’s a young and highly skilled offensive player with the versatility to make an impact,” said Roger Stilz, Head of Sport at FC St. Gallen 1879.
“He’ll be seamlessly integrated into our professional training regimen while also getting valuable playing time with the U21s, ensuring a smooth transition. We’re absolutely thrilled to welcome Enoch to our squad!” he added, setting the stage for what promises to be an exciting journey ahead.
