James Gunu, Volta Regional Minister
James Gunu, Volta Regional Minister, says empowering traders and business owners would advance the development of the Volta Region.
“When I support Ghana Union of Traders Association (GUTA), Volta Chapter, it is not for NDC nor NPP; it is for the betterment of the entire region”.
Gunu made the remarks when a delegation from the Chapter called to congratulate him on his appointment and formally introduce their operations within the Region.
He said the discussions held were insightful and included how they could work together to strengthen the business environment in the Region.
Mr Gunu said he remained committed to fostering strong partnerships that enhanced economic growth in the Region.
“Together, we will create a thriving business environment that benefits everyone”.
Togbe Adzimah Ⅳ, Atamfia to Agbogbomefia Togbe Afede XIV and Chairman of the Chapter leading the delegation highlighted some challenges they faced.
It included their lack of official office space as they have been operating from the residence of their chairman.
The Chapter requested the Regional Minister’s support in securing an office within the Assembly or any other suitable location to ensure smooth operations.
