Former Accra Hearts of Oak player Dennis Korsah has commenced trials with Scottish club St. Johnstone, as reported exclusively by Kickgh.com

The 28-year-old versatile player, who can operate as a left-back, left center-half, or holding midfielder, was lined up to come to Scotland by former Saints manager Craig Levein.

After Levein was sacked last month, transfer business was put on hold until the Perth club had secured a replacement.
New head coach Simo Valakari is still in the process of finalising his work permit, but efforts to strengthen the McDiarmid Park squad are gaining momentum, and Valakari has decided to give Korsah the chance to impress in training this week.

The Saints currently sit ninth in the Scottish Premiership table, having earned seven points from two wins, one draw, and six losses in nine matches.

Korsah departed from the Phobians at the start of the season after fulfilling his contract. Having Hearts in 2022 from Cape Coast Ebusua Dwarfs, he played a pivotal role in the club’s success, contributing to their FA Cup and President’s Cup victories during his debut season.

Korsah has represented the Ghana Black Stars on two occasions, earning two international caps.
