The National Democratic Congress (NDC) branch in Sege Constituency in the Greater Accra Region ahead of the 2024 presidential and parliamentary elections has outlined the party’s policies to tackle pertinent challenges affecting the constituents through a campaign launch.

The NDC parliamentary candidate in the constituency, Daniel Keshi Bessey has assured that he aims to endeavour to the constituents’ expectations, hoping to maintain the winning streak for the part in this year’s parliamentary race in the Sege Constituency.

Addressing the media after the campaign launch on October 13, 2024, he promised: “The confidence you have imposed in me is so high that I will not forget and will not fail. I am going to do my best, particularly for my youth. Many income-generating avenues are coming out and I have the best ideas to help us through.”

He stressed combining his political ideas with John Dramani Mahama’s employment expansion idea of a 24-hour economy policy citing the shift system at work, and women’s development bank will curb the economic struggle of indigents in Sege Constituency.

“Most of my youth who want to go to school will go to school. Those who want to go military or immigration and any opportunity that we need, I will lead that charge and all of us will develop together”, he assures.

Daniel Keshi Bessey entreated the constituents to vote the NDC’s presidential candidate and Ghana’s former president, John Dramani Mahama into power to ensure the Sege constituency realizes progress in human capacity through jobs creation and infrastructure development.

The Member of Parliament (MP) for North Tongu Constituency in the Volta Region, Honourable Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa who took part in the campaign launch lamented the lack of jobs for the Sege youth in the constituency and the entire country suffering the same fate.

The NDC parliamentary candidate in the North Tongu Constituency added that Ghana under John Dramani Mahama’s previous administration has made progress in infrastructure development compared to the New Patriotic Party (NPP) adding the NDC deserves a second comeback to power.

“John Dramani Mahama has built terminal three, Shai Osudoku Hospital, University of Ghana Medical Center, Regional Hospitals, Kumasi Airport, Kejetia Market, Tamale Airport, Ho Airport, E-Blocks, Harbour Extension, and others prove much about his capabilities”, he eulogizes.

According to Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, after winning the 2024 election, the NDC will implement policies that supersede the other party’s policies and therefore lauded the flagbearer’s visionary prowess, saying he constantly delivers on his promises.

“John Dramani Mahama does not promise and never delivers on what he promises to do. He is always fair in what to do and not deceive people,” he lauded.

The launching was honoured by some national executives, NDC Members of Parliament from other constituencies, constituency executives, branch executives, and party supporters from communities in the constituency.
