In a recent statement, artist manager Bullgod criticized Deputy Minister for Tourism, Arts, and Culture, Mark Okraku-Mantey, calling him a “baby politician” and accusing him of disrespecting former President Mahama.
Bullgod expressed disappointment with Okraku-Mantey’s handling of the creative arts sector, stating that despite the politician’s background in music production, his political actions have been lacking, as reported GhanaWeb.
He pointed to promises made by Okraku-Mantey and the Ministry to build multipurpose amphitheatres for the arts, which remain unfulfilled.
“I am a number one critic of Catherine Afeku but I can tell you she did better than Mark Okraku-Mantey,” Bullgod remarked, expressing frustration over the unkept promises and lack of progress.
Bullgod emphasized the importance of respecting taxpayers, stating that citizens deserve real action from their government representatives, rather than unfulfilled commitments.
He also warned that Okraku-Mantey, if elected to parliament, would offer no substantial change to his constituency.
Despite his critique of Okraku-Mantey’s political record, Bullgod clarified his admiration for him before entering politics.
