Reverend Isaac Owusu-Bempah, the founder and leader of Glorious Word Power Ministry International, has pledged to use all spiritual means at his disposal to prevent the New Patriotic Party (NPP) from emerging victorious in the December 7 general elections as reported by Ghana Web on Friday, November 8, 2024.
In a recent interview on Okay FM, monitored by GhanaWeb on November 7, 2024, the controversial cleric made it clear that he is working tirelessly in the spiritual realm to fulfill his prophecy of the NPP’s defeat.
Owusu-Bempah expressed deep frustration over the party’s lack of recognition for his past efforts, both spiritual and physical, to ensure their success in previous elections.
“I am seriously praying against the NPP spiritually because I have to defend the prophecy revealed to me by God to ensure it comes to pass,” Owusu-Bempah declared.
“I will continue to fight against the NPP in the spiritual realm until they suffer the worst defeat in Ghana’s election history. Mark my words and record today’s date.”
Owusu-Bempah, who has been a staunch supporter of the NPP, particularly President Akufo-Addo and Vice President Bawumia, was critical of the party’s treatment of him despite his past sacrifices.
He pointed out that he had made significant contributions to the party’s victories in both the 2016 and 2020 elections.
“Some people in the NPP who have not acknowledged my sacrifices and commitment to the party and the difficulties I went through because I supported this party and Nana Akufo-Addo and Bawumia are now insulting me,” he said. “I don’t deliberately give prophecies; we do what we are told by God.”
Owusu-Bempah also addressed his earlier prophetic support for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, saying he prayed fervently for the Vice President.
However, he revealed that God had stopped him from praying for Bawumia, stating, “There’s no man of God on this earth who used to pray for Dr. Bawumia more than me.
I prayed seriously until God told me to stop because He is not handing over Ghana to Bawumia. Instead, He has handed over the country to John Mahama.”
