In the wake of the passing of the Ghana Freedom Party’s leader (GFP) Akua Donkor, rumors emerged that the GFP had withdrawn from the upcoming December 7 elections.
However, Kwabena Agyeman Appiah Kubi, popularly known as Roman Fadda has dispelled these claims. Recently appointed as Donkor’s replacement, Roman Fadda confirmed to Nkonkonsa.com that he remains in the race.
Addressing the rumors in a phone interview, he assured Ghanaians of his commitment to the election. “I have officially filed with the Electoral Commission to acknowledge my role as the replacement for our beloved late candidate, Akua Donkor. Ghanaians should not believe any claims that I have withdrawn; I am in this race, and the GFP is committed to competing on December 7,” he stated, calling for continued support for the GFP’s mission.
