With the conclusion of Round 4 of the 2024/25 UEFA Europa League, Ghanaian players were in action for their respective clubs. Here is a comprehensive report on their performances.

Inaki Williams captained Athletic Club to a thrilling 2-1 comeback victory in Bulgaria against Ludogorets. The 30-year-old scored the equalizer before his teammate Nico Serrano found the net to secure the win. Inaki had an impressive game, making five shots on goal, completing one key pass, and missing two chances, earning a rating of 7.2 on sofascore for his 90 minutes on the pitch

On the goal-scoring front, Prince Kwabena Adu scored his second goal of the competition in Viktoria Plzen’s 2-1 victory over Real Sociedad. The 21-year-old striker opened the scoring in the 13th minute and played for 88 minutes.

At Old Trafford, PAOK suffered a 2-0 defeat to Manchester United, with Abdul Baba Rahman playing the entire match. Despite putting in a solid performance, he unfortunately gifted Manchester United their second goal in the 77th minute.

Baba Alhassan came on as a substitute in the 21st minute and contributed to his side’s 2-0 victory against Midtjylland at home at the National Arena.

In a 1-1 draw against Sporting Braga, both Terry Yegbe and Michael Baidoo started for Elfsborg. Yegbe was instrumental in solidifying the defence, while Baidoo led the attack and was substituted in the 76th minute.

Mohammed Fuseini helped Royale Saint Union-Gilloise secure a 1-1 draw against AS Roma, lasting until the 69th minute.

In the Conference League, Lawrence Ati Zigi stood tall in goal for St. Gallen, helping them achieve a 2-1 victory over Larne FC after coming back from a goal down, during which he made an impressive save.
