Moira Araba Dawson-Williams, baby mama of renowned Ghanaian politician Kennedy Agyapong, has responded sharply to the former MP’s recent public apology, accusing him of deliberately ignoring the daughter they share, Anell Agyapong.
In a video circulating online, Moira expressed her disappointment in Kennedy Agyapong for choosing to issue a public apology at the TESCON conference held at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), while failing to acknowledge or apologise to his estranged daughter.
“You went to KNUST to say sorry to a bunch of kids who do not know you from anywhere,” she said in the video.
“None of the kids you have refused to pay their school fees attend KNUST.”
Kennedy Agyapong, during his appearance at the event, publicly asked for forgiveness from individuals he had offended over the years. However, Moira noted that the apology was largely directed at male colleagues and political associates, with no mention of the women or children affected by his past remarks and actions.
The former Assin Central MP’s relationship with Moira and their daughter Anell has been strained for years.
In 2020, Kennedy openly disowned Anell after alleging that she dropped out of the Southern California Institute of Technology despite his financial support.
He further accused her and her mother of immoral behavior, refusing to accept Anell’s later public apology when she tried to reconcile.
Moira now believes that Kennedy’s latest attempt at reconciliation is more performative than heartfelt.
According to her, if the politician is genuinely seeking peace, he must begin with those closest to him—especially his children.
“I have accepted the apology,” she stated, “but my daughter and I will visit his house and give him the blasting he deserves.”
Her comments have ignited conversations online, with mixed reactions from the public.
While some sympathize with her position as a mother defending her daughter, others believe the conflict should be resolved privately.
Kennedy Agyapong, known for his outspoken nature and political boldness, has yet to publicly respond to Moira’s latest statements.
