Reacting to the news, former Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia expressed his deep sadness over Ibrahim’s passing, offering prayers for the repose of his soul as he embarks on his journey to the afterlife.

“I am saddened to hear about the passing of Chairman Wudoyim Ibrahim, who was the NPP 2024 Parliamentary Candidate in Sene East Constituency. May his gentle soul rest in peace,” Dr Bawumia posted on Facebook on April 2, 2025.

He was known for his accessibility, regularly engaging with constituents to understand their needs.

His focus areas included educational reforms, improved healthcare services, and infrastructural development, especially in rural communities, and leaves behind a strong legacy in his constituency.
