WWE Raw in London LIVE as Logan Paul gets booed out of the United Kingdom

Share

WWE’s flagship show Monday Night Raw is live in London at the O2 Arena tonight to end the company’s pre-Wrestlemania European tour. And while US fans are longing for the return of the usual 1am Netflix start time that we Brits normally get lumbered with, it does mean that those of us in this country get to enjoy one final show at a normal time of 8pm.

And what a show it started out as, as John Cena and Cody Rhodes took verbal shots at each other with their Wrestlemania bout in three week’s time. Rhodes mentioned Vince McMahon – a named banned in WWE for most – while Cena took time to slate everything about Rhodes.

The verbal joust ended with Cena getting dropped by Rhodes, who hit him with cross roads. Elswhere, The New Day battled a returning New Catch Republic for a relatively easy win over the British pair.

Jimmy Uso tried to battle World Heavyweight champion Gunther, but lost easily and then ended up covered in blood after a horrific post-match attack.

Penta and Bron Breakker battled Finn Balor and Dominic Mysterio, with the latter team picking up a shock win and Penta eating the pin for the first time in his WWE career.

YouTube superstar Logan Paul appeared in the ring after being called out by legendary former WWE Champion AJ Styles after weeks of social media chatter, only for the London crowd to boo him out of the United Kingdom.

Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky battled for the latter’s World Women’s Championship, with Bianca Belair donning the stripes as the special guest referee, which ended in a double DQ after much kicking and slapping of the referee.

Chaos ensued after, with Rhea Ripley standing tall.

Full results:

  • Cody Rhodes floored John Cena
  • The New Day beat New Catch Republic
  • Gunther beat Jimmy Uso
  • The Judgement Day beat Penta and Bron Breakker
  • Iyo Sky vs Rhea Ripley ends in a double DQ
