President Nene Terkpertey Agblezey I of Gnaff has issued a clarion call to the youth of Ghana, urging them to seize the opportunities presented by the government’s innovative “Nkoko Nketekete” program.

This initiative aims to empower young people and foster economic growth.

During his regional tour of the Eastern Region, the President emphasised the importance of avoiding the destructive influences of substance abuse, particularly the notorious “RED” drug, which has been linked to zombie-like behavior.

As the future leaders of Ghana, the president cautioned the youth to remain vigilant and steer clear of the pitfalls of drug addiction.

He stressed that their well-being and productivity are crucial to the nation’s progress.

The president also took the opportunity to advocate for the government to recognize and collaborate with Gnaff, the apex body representing farmers and fishermen across the country.

In his statement, President Agblezey I underscored the need for collective action to combat substance abuse, which has far-reaching consequences for individuals, families, and communities.

He encouraged young people to prioritise their health, education, and personal development and to seek help if they or someone they know is struggling with addiction.

The president’s call to action aligns with the vision of creating a society where individuals are empowered to make healthy choices, free from the negative impact of substance abuse.

As Ghana strives to build a brighter future, his emphasis on youth empowerment, education, and substance abuse prevention serves as a timely reminder of the importance of investing in the nation’s most valuable resource, its people.
