Seville is green and white, or so say the Betis fans, exulting with joy after Betis’ victory in the Seville derby against their arch-rivals. Isco Alarcon spoke to ‘DAZN’ and gave his first impressions after the match.
The former Madrid midfielder had words of praise for Antony, who was by his side: “We have to do a crowdfunding to see if we can bring him in for another year. He has surprised us all with his humility and his willingness to help”.
“I’ve been two weeks almost without training. I got a knock against Leganes. But I’m happy and satisfied,” he added.
He thanked the fans for their help: “Real Betis was my light in my darkness. Grateful to the people, members of the club who bet on me. Hopefully I can make history”.
Finally, Isco valued the option of qualifying for the Champions League: “We know it’s difficult. The team’s ambition is maximum. We can’t set ourselves limits. We are still alive in the Conference as well. It’s a morale booster for the last few matches”.
