Hearts of Oak makes Accra Sports Stadium return, Gold Stars hosts Heart of Lions – all fixtures & kick-off for GPL Matchday 21

All eyes on the Ghana Premier League title race, with just one point separating the top three. Who will blink first? Here is the league’s in-depth mid-week action fixtures.

In the outstanding Matchday 21 Premier League fixture, Hearts of Oak returned to the Accra Sports Stadium for the first time since September, 2024.

The Phobians are set to tackle Nations FC at the nations Wembley on Wednesday, April 2 in what will be an intriguing contest.

The last time Hearts of Oak played at the Accra Sports Stadium was during the 2024/25 Premier League opener in which the capital side were stunned 1-0 by the freshly qualified top-flight entrants’ Basake Holy Stars.

Meanwhile, second placed Bibiani Gold Stars will host Heart of Lions at the Dun’s Park on Tuesday April 1 hoping to re-wire ahead of table topper Asante Kotoko.

Medeama and Basake Holy Stars slug-it-out at the TnA Stadium also on Tuesday, in what will be only the second meeting ever between the two side’s.

Young Apostles will play as visitors against Aduana Stars in a Bono Derby on Wednesday, April 2 at the Nana Agyemang Badu I Stadium, while Asante Kotoko will welcome Berekum Chelsea to the Baba Yara Stadium on that same day.

Elsewhere, Rejuvenated Dreams FC will tackle Bechem United at the Tuba Astro turf on Wednesday, as ‘wounded’ Vision FC hosts FC Samartex at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex in Tema New Town.

Whereas, Karela United will welcome cellar-dwelling Legon Cities to the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium.
