Another week and finally Liverpool’s return is on the horizon. It has been 15 days since Arne Slot’s side were last played, but it feels closer to 50.

The club game did return at the weekend when the FA Cup quarter-finals took place, with Crystal Palace, Nottingham Forest, Aston Villa and Manchester City securing their places in the last four of the competition.

Now focus returns to the Premier League, nearly a month after the Reds’ last league game. There are three fixtures on Tuesday and six on Wednesday, meaning there will be several pre-match press conferences today.

Elsewhere, in transfer news, Matheus Cunha has expressed his desire to leave Wolverhampton Wanderers this summer, while there have been fresh claims about Alexander Isak’s future. Andy Robertson has again fired back about the criticism of his performances this season, while Jurgen Klopp has made his first real decision as Red Bull chief.

We’ll keep updating our blog with the latest Liverpool-related news throughout the day.
