According to eyewitnesses, the Sprinter bus was traveling from Accra when it attempted to make a U-turn at Tuba Junction, resulting in a collision with the oncoming fuel tanker, which was heading towards Accra from Kasoa. The impact caused significant damage to both vehicles, leaving multiple passengers injured.
Emergency responders, including fire personnel from Weija, promptly arrived at the scene to provide assistance. The injured were rushed to the Amamfrom Polyclinic and the Akaway Hospital in Weija for medical treatment.
