Winner of the Queen of Ghana Beauty Pageant, Nana Araba Sekum
Winner of the Queen of Ghana Beauty Pageant, Nana Araba Sekum, is set to represent the country at the Queen of the World Pageant in the United States of America.
The international event, which celebrates beauty, culture, and social causes, is scheduled for May in the USA.
The competition will take place from May 6 to 10, 2025, at the Peter Norton Symphony Space Theater in New York, New York. Contestants from over fifty countries will participate.
With this opportunity, Araba will not only represent herself but also every woman in Ghana who dares to dream.
A second-year student at the University of Education, Winneba, Araba believes her journey is about more than just a crown; it is about inspiring change and empowering young girls in Ghana and beyond.
Upon her return to Ghana, Araba aims to focus on her mission by launching a nationwide campaign under the Queen of Ghana pageant umbrella to raise awareness about the importance of educating girls. She hopes to encourage them to take on leadership roles in governance and other spheres of life.
Mrs. Araba Biesema Crentsil, the founder, CEO, and pageant coach of Queen of Ghana, is dedicated to training, equipping, and empowering more young women to become symbols of hope and resilience. She emphasizes that true beauty is not just about appearances but about the heart’s capacity to inspire and uplift others.
According to her, the story of Ghana’s participation in this competition will continue to resonate, proving that with determination and passion, one can create a ripple effect of positive change in the world.
“We are calling on all stakeholders to support Ghana as we compete for the global 2025 crown in New York this May. We believe Ghana has what it takes to win and bring the title home,” she said.
She added, “As the founder and CEO, I will provide all the necessary emotional and physical support to our titleholder to ensure she is in the best possible state to win this competition. We are going with a team of experts who will help her make a significant impact on the international stage and put Ghana on the map.”
