GJA president donates to Muslim communities at Alajo ahead of Eid-ul-Fitr

GJA President Albert Kwabena Dwumfour has donated to Muslim Communities at Alajo ahead of the Eid-ul-fitr celebration.

The donation, which was done on Thursday, through the Alajo Chief for onward distribution to the Muslims in the area, was aimed at supporting the Muslims as part of their Eid-Ul-fitr fasting, which ends on Sunday, March 30, 2025.

The items included several bags of rice, cooking oil, assorted drinks and packs of bottled water.

The GJA President, in an interview with the media explained that his donation was born out of the fact that Alajo was where he cut his teeth.

He added that life in Alajo as a community strengthened him to be where he is today hence the need to reciprocate the love at a time Muslims are inching closer to the end of their fasting.

He expressed his commitment to continue supporting Alajo, the community that shaped him adding that “I owe it all to Alajo”

He later commend the Alajo Chief Nii Armah Ajoor II for his development initiatives, assuring him of immense support to enable him to carry on with his developmental projects in the area.

The Alajo Chief, receiving the items commended the GJA President profusely for the gesture done the people of Alajo assuring him that the items will be used for the purpose for which they were donated.
