‘I wish we’d played together!’

Black Stars captain Jordan Ayew has spoken of his admiration for Ghana icon’s Stephen Appiah and Laryea Kingston.

Two of Ghana’s transcendent footballers, who graced the game with sensational midfield prowess during their playing days, spoke on JoySports of his admiration for both stars.

Ayew, 33, started playing for Ghana’s senior national team – the Black Stars in 2010, and has racked up 104 appearances, notching 28 goals.

The  Leicester City forward continues to lit up the pitch for the Black Stars and The Foxes with a ball at his feet, stating: “I admired Stephen Appiah and Laryea Kingston as footballers and I wish I could have played with them because of the feeling with Essien and Muntari. Muntari in the game and Essien in training a bit, I was like wow.”
