According to a report from TV3 News, Black Stars coach Otto Addo has urged caution, emphasizing that it’s too soon to celebrate qualification for the 2026 World Cup, as there is still work to be done.
Ghana is set to play against Madagascar in Morocco for their upcoming World Cup qualifier, having won the first leg.
While some believe that a victory could be a crucial step toward securing a place in the tournament, Addo remains measured in his approach.
“Nobody should be thinking about the World Cup yet. We need to take it step by step. It’s very, very important that we stay focused until the job is done,” he said.
Ghana currently tops Group I with 12 points, with Madagascar trailing closely behind at 10.
After five matches, a win would significantly boost the Black Stars’ chances, but Addo stresses the importance of maintaining focus on the remaining games.
