Final decision made on Kwame Sefa Kayi’s future at peace FM

NPP’s P.K Sarpong, a close associate of the renowned broadcaster Kwame Sefa Kayi, has disclosed that Despite Mediate management has decided to reinstate Sefa Kayi as the host of Kokrokoo on Peace Fm by the first week of April 2025.
Many Ghanaians have been wondering why the Media Commando Kwame Sefa Kayi has been missing in action on their famous morning show Kokrokoo on peace FM 104.3. His absence is unusual because over the years Kwame has been consistent on the show making it a favorite for morning show listeners.
However, there is a rumor circulating in the media space that the incumbent party, NDC is behind the scenes causing the long serving broadcaster to be jobless.
In May 2020, the NDC boycotted the show and describing the host as a dictator and bias. A statement signed by Sammy Gyamfi said the decision was taking following the radio station’s ‘unfair paneling’ system that the production team of that programme had continuously foisted on the NDC over a number of months.
However, when NDC won power in the just ended 2024 election, Kwame Sefa apologized on their Kokrokoo Morning Show currently hosted by Nana Yaw Kesse that the management of the party should reconsider their decision and come back on the show.
As to whether the NDC will accept and continue to show up on the show, only future can tell.
