Elon Musk’s son is often seen in the White House, but in recent snaps the billionaire Tesla owner is seen walking ahead while Donald Trump looks after the youngster

Donald Trump has been branded “little X’s nanny” after being seen walking side-by-side with Elon Musk’s son to his helicopter from the White House.
Social media users joked car salesman Musk has hired the US President, 78, as a babysitter for his four-year-old son while he actually runs the country.
Photos emerged showing the Orange Manbaby, in a navy suit, red tie and coat, walking next to Musk’s child, who donned a dark coat and beige pants, on the White House lawn.
Musk’s son, X Æ A-12, also known as “Lil X,” appears cheerful and clutches a toy as the pair board Marine One, the President’s chopper.

Musk himself shared one of the images of his beaming son on X, writing: “That’s a happy picture”.
But the snaps raised eyebrows as others made the point that the power dynamic between Musk and Trump was skewed in the relationship.
One social media user said: “A car salesman has turned the President of the United States into a babysitter. America is not a real place man.”

Another joked: “Trump finally got his first real job. Officially little X’s nanny. Elon Musk hired the US president to babysit.”
In another post, an X user commented: “It honestly just looks like Elon is so in charge, that he made Trump the babysitter.”
In reply, a user joked: “Lil X is really the president and Trump was his security that afternoon.”
One user made the point: “Interesting to see Musk walking ahead, discussing things with his minions, while Trump walks behind, watching Musk’s child. Kind of shows the power dynamics of that… family/business relationship.”

Little X has been a regular fixture at the White House since Trump’s election victory after his dad was appointed to lead the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), supposedly to root out wasteful public spending.
One social media wag quipped: “Does this child live at the White House now?” To which another joker replied: “Of course he does, he’s the President.”
