The newly established NEC comprises a distinguished team of sustainability professionals
The Association of African Sustainability Practitioners (AASuP) has officially inaugurated its National Executive Council (NEC), marking a significant milestone in the organisation’s commitment to advancing sustainability, climate action, and green innovation across Ghana and the African continent.
The newly established NEC comprises a distinguished team of sustainability professionals dedicated to strengthening AASuP’s governance and leadership.
Their expertise will enhance the association’s credibility, foster collaboration with key stakeholders, and drive the implementation of sustainable initiatives.
Speaking at the event, AASuP leadership emphasised the council’s role in shaping sustainability policies and promoting best practices across industries.
Additionally, the media and public are encouraged to recognise the contributions of these leaders and their efforts in making AASuP a key voice in sustainability advocacy.
As part of its broader mission, AASuP is launching a series of cutting-edge training programs designed to equip sustainability practitioners with advanced knowledge and practical skills.
These programs address pressing environmental, social, and economic challenges unique to Africa and focus on hands-on learning, collaboration with international experts, and the integration of modern technology in sustainable solutions.
These specialised courses aim to build a new generation of sustainability leaders, positioning Ghana and Africa as front runners in the global sustainability agenda.
The event featured a keynote address by the Minister of Climate Change and Sustainability, Issifu Seidu, who underscored the importance of sustainable development in shaping Africa’s economic and environmental future.
