Former Finance Minister Dr. Mohammed Amin Adam is addressing the press regarding the budget statement presented by the Minister of Finance.
On Tuesday, March 11, 2025, the Minister of Finance, Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson, presented the 2025 budget statement in Parliament.
He announced the government’s plan to abolish certain taxes, including the E-Levy and the COVID-19 levy, among others.
The minister also projected an end-of-year inflation rate of 11.9 percent.
