Arsenal went into Champions League action on Wednesday night needing to close out the job against PSV Eindhoven to secure a place in the quarter-finals.

The Gunners were held to a 2-2 draw by PSV, winning the tie 9-3 on aggregate and securing their place in the final eight.

While most of their focus will shift to the quarter-finals, the Premier League awaits this weekend as they prepare for a clash with London rivals Chelsea.

Arsenal learn Champions League quarter-final opponents

Mikel Arteta rang the changes on Wednesday night as he made several switches in his Arsenal team against PSV Eindhoven.

While the Gunners took the lead twice on the night, their opponents pegged them back, ending up as a 2-2 draw.

Arsenal won the tie 9-3 on aggregate though, booking a place in the quarter-final of the competition.

They will now take on Real Madrid in the final eight of the competition, with a huge tie set to take place in April.

Arsenal ready contract talks for Leandro Trossard

Arsenal are set for contract talks with winger Leandro Trossard in the coming weeks, according to Voetbal Krant.

The forward has just over one year remaining on his deal at the Emirates Stadium, with uncertainty over his future.

Contract talks could see him stay, however there is interest from Saudi Arabia that the experienced star could consider.

Gabriel Jesus gives positive injury update

Arsenal star Gabriel Jesus has taken to social media to give a positive injury update following his recent surgery.

The forward suffered an ACL injury in mid-January, which came as a devastating blow for both the Gunners and the player.

However, following surgery, the Brazilian has taken to Instagram to post an update on his progress.

He posted a video showing his progress, with the caption: “The first seven weeks of recovery are done. Working hard and improving every day, thanks to God. Step by step.”
