Malik Basintale, the Acting Chief Executive Officer of the Youth Employment Agency (YEA), has praised President John Dramani Mahama for keeping to his promise of scrapping some “nuisance” taxes.
His praises come after the Finance Minister, Dr Cassiel Ato Forson, announced that the government will be abolishing the Electronic Transaction Levy (E-levy), and the 10% tax on lottery winnings also known as betting tax.
