Controversial Ghanaian media personality, Okatakyie Afrifa, has come under fire over recent attacks on the President’s brother, Ibrahim Mahama, for driving him around.
Recently, during a trip to the Volta Region to pay a courtesy call on the victims of tidal waves, the Mahama brothers were spotted together with the Engineers and Planners CEO driving his Head of State brother.
Okatakyie Afrifa, currently embroiled in a desperate search for relevance since his departure from Angel Broadcasting, took issue with Ibrahim driving his brother John.
According to him, the President has three drivers, therefore, why should his brother be the one driving him around?
He lamented the closeness of Ibrahim to the Presidency since Mahama’s return to office.
Afrifa said if the President wants to officially employ his brother as his driver, he should do so, however, the current situation does not speak well of the Presidency.

His comments sparked angry responses from social media users who tagged him a hypocrite.
During the Akufo-Addo era, he famously moved around with a chair that he sat in no matter where he went.
One netizen dragged Afrifa for having nothing to say about a common chair having a driver but complaining about Ibrahim driving his brother around.
