Manchester City midfielder Jack Grealish
A video of England and Manchester City midfielder Jack Grealish leaving a a pub completely drunk has generated discussions among the community on social media.
According to a publication by the Daily Mail, Grealish was seen leaving a pub in Newcastle in the late hours of Sunday, March 2, 2025.
Grealish visited the pub after Manchester City’s victory over Plymouth Argyle in the FA Cup.
A completely intoxicated Grealish was seen in a viral video leaving the spot while holding a glass bottle.
Grealish, dressed in a grey hoodie and ripped jeans, appeared to be accompanied by a friend in a pink sweatshirt as they headed to their car.
Grealish’s affection for parties is well-documented, as he has on numerous occasions been spotted being drunk.
Grealish is being eased into the Manchester City starting team after struggling last season.
In an earlier interview, Grealish, who has been rumored to be on his way out of the club, described 2024 as one of his worst years.
“Last year, the whole year itself, it was weird because my little daughter was born, but apart from that, it was one of the most difficult years—probably the most difficult year of my life for many reasons, on and off the pitch,” Grealish said.
“I found it difficult. But it’s a new year, a sort of fresh start, and hopefully, I can kick on from here. I feel like in my last few games that I have played—against Palace, Salford, and Orient—I am trying to be involved more in the goals and assists.
“Listen, I want to start playing more often and have that rhythm—the way I was a couple of years ago when I was playing a lot of games in a row,” Grealish added.
“I do find it difficult at times to come in and out of games, not really playing. Hopefully, I can keep training well and play a few more games.”

It’s jarring the difference in how Manchester United players are dramatised & treated by the Daily Mail compared to how a smaller club player like the fun loving lad that is Jack Grealish.
No matter what you think of Marcus Rashford (for example), there is no arguing it. https://t.co/IJPqADkFzB pic.twitter.com/7poBvRXgw6

If you go on Google, search a player’s name, and add the word *drunk* before it, only for multiple images to pop up, that’s already a serious issue for the player.
After winning the treble, Jack Grealish settled into a comfort zone, satisfied with what he’d achieved at club…

Marcus Rashford had about a week Media slander when he was seen coming out of a club called all sorts of names. Grealish comes out staggering drunk and it’s just fun and games. Being black and Alive is so hard man. https://t.co/62uO6ApUcn
