There Were Two Presidents in The Past Government – Duncan Williams Drops Revelation

Share

Prominent Ghanaian preacher, Archbishop Nicholas Duncan Williams, has stirred debate with a bold revelation at a clergy meeting organized by President John Mahama at the Accra International Conference Center on Friday, 28th February, 2025.

His statement about an alleged “second president” in the past government has left Ghanaians speculating about which administration he was referring to.

Speaking as a guest speaker at the event, Duncan Williams recounted a time when a particular government appeared to have two heads of state. He claimed that each time the sitting president made a decision, another powerful figure, whom he described as a “second president” would override it.

According to him, this mysterious figure even went as far as signing dismissal letters in the president’s name, creating confusion within the administration. He added that at a point, many government officials stopped seeking the president’s approval and instead reported directly to the second president, as they saw him as the real authority.

Duncan Williams further revealed that tensions eventually arose between the president and this second power figure. He recounted that the so-called second president once reached out to him, asking for his intervention to resolve the conflict. However, the Archbishop said he chose not to get involved because, at some point, this second president had ignored his calls.

Following his statement, social media has been buzzing with speculation, with many trying to decipher which government Duncan Williams was referring to. While some believe he was speaking about a recent administration, others think he was referencing a much older government.
