Carrington currently has some of the best youngsters in the world and now another Manchester United talent is close to joining this list.

On Friday night, Manchester United’s U18 side were back in FA Youth Cup action, with the quarter-final against Arsenal revealing some excellent performances.

It is the second time United have beaten Arsenal at the Emirates this year, with the first-team winning in the FA Cup in January and now Adam Lawrence’s U18s.

The game was closely contested with Jack Fletcher striking first for United before half-time. After this, the Gunners scored two to take the lead.

It was short-lived however with Jaydan Kamason drawing the teams level before Bendito Mantato got the winner inside extra time.

The win had the players delighted, as Chido Obi celebrated on Instagram with a funny comment on starman Kamason’s post.

Jaydan Kamason is on fire for Manchester United

United had some strong and notable performances with James Scanlon and Fletcher impressive, along with cameos from Amir Ibragimov and Samuel Lusale being impactful.

However, there was no player on the pitch who played better than United’s right back. Kamason has been in sensational form and this continued with a bang on Friday night.

Kamason was incredible for United against Chelsea, as he assisted two goals in the 5-1 thumping, and this form has been persistent throughout the season with seven assists and two goals this campaign to date.

Against Arsenal, Kamason was as excellent as usual, causing issues down the right with his stunning strike being the highlight of his and arguably United’s performance.

Scanlon clipped a ball out to Kamason on the right side, before the defender smashed an almost perfect shot into the far top corner, it was a goal-of-the-season contender.

After the game, Obi thanked Kamason for the goal against his former club, in a show of his distaste toward Arsenal, likely for the way their fans treated him due to his exit.

Jaydan Kamason can save Manchester United millions this summer

Kamason’s emergence as a top prospect over the course of this season has been perfectly timed, considering right wing-back is a position Ineos look set to want additions in.

Despite playing as more of a right-back for Lawrence’s side, Kamason has the qualities required to shine as a wing-back, with his excellent dribbling, endless engine and recently impeccable final ball quality.

Due to this, if Amorim was watching last night he may well be thinking that he doesn’t need to use up £33m of the budget to sign Geovany Quenda when he has potentially his very own version already in the ranks and ready to be given a chance.

This summer, United have a long list of priorities and so finding solutions is key, as if a new right wing-back is not required, more funds can be allocated to the striker position or even goalkeeper.
