Former Chief Executive Officer of National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme, Kofi Ofosu Nkansah has expressed disappointment over how some individuals he once shared opportunities with when he was in office are now distancing themselves from him.
In a Facebook post, Kofi Ofosu Nkansah lamented that despite being warned against offering opportunities to certain people, he went ahead in good faith and shared the opportunities. However, those individuals have now turned their backs on him.
“When I was giving huge opportunities to some of these ingrates I was cautioned against it but I didn’t listen. But we do good for God and Country so no regrets.” He wrote.
He further criticised some particular individuals, who despite benefitting from his influence and even requesting additional support for others, has now publicly dissociated himself from the very system that helped the.
“Wonders will not end ooo. That someone who had his People as part of a system and even asked for more People to be added on will go out and lie that he wasn’t in support of it and condemn that very system. Suro nnipa” Kofi Ofosu Nkansah added.
His remarks have sparked discussions online, with some social media users sympathizing with his sentiments, while others argue that such betrayals are common in politics and leadership.
Kofi Ofosu Nkansah’s statement highlights the challenges of loyalty and trust in leadership, particularly in political and professional circles.
His sentiments follow recent dismissals of some temporary staff at the National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme(NEIP) head office.
