The leader of Glorious Word Power Ministries, Rev. Isaac Owusu-Bempah, has revealed how a former Director of the National Investigation Bureau (NIB) worked closely with him to ensure the country’s security integrity.

According to the controversial man of God, the security chief tasked him with watching over the country spiritually to ensure that security was not compromised.

In a video shared on YouTube, Rev. Owusu-Bempah, speaking to his congregation, touted his spiritual prowess, which earned him the privilege of being the country’s spiritual watchman.

“I say this to the glory of God. Why did the former BNI Director invite me to his office? He told me, ‘Man of God, I am now going to work with you. I know you can see things spiritually. Anything that happens in the spiritual realm, draw my attention to it so that I can act on it. I know God has gifted you with the ability to see things spiritually.’ The BNI Director who was in office before Mr. Domfeh was appointed is the one I am referring to. Mr. Domfeh was also my friend, and I spoke with him quite regularly.”

Rev. Owusu-Bempah, who is known for the accuracy of his prophecies, previously disclosed how he was instrumental in the arrest of a notorious armed robber who was once Accra’s most wanted criminal.

Speaking to his congregation, though failing to provide details of the strategy employed, he claimed he was the mastermind behind the arrest of the armed robber. He stated that he directed the then Greater Accra Regional Police Commander on how to effect the arrest.

“…COP (Rtd) Kofi Boakye was my friend at the time he was the Greater Accra Regional Police Commander. There was once a dreaded armed robber who was the most wanted criminal on the police wanted list. I am the one who taught them [the police] what to do to arrest this wanted armed robber. It is not everything that I can speak about publicly. It is not that I’m putting this out there as an act of self-aggrandizement. These are incontrovertible facts. There’s a police officer [Nii] who will bear me witness on this issue I have spoken about,” Rev. Owusu-Bempah said.

Though the prophet did not identify the said armed robber, it is believed he was referring to the now-jailed armed robber, Ataa Ayi, who has since become a born-again Christian and a pastor in prison.
