Liverpool were handed a major boost in the Premier League title race thanks to a victory over Manchester City. The Reds claimed a 2-0 victory against City at the Etihad Stadium to extend their lead over Arsenal at the top of the table.

Mohamed Salah opened the scoring for Liverpool with his 30th goal of the season in all competitions. Dominik Szoboszlai then doubled the Reds’ lead before the half-time break to give Arne Slot’s side a 2-0 advantage going into the second half.

Curtis Jones thought he scored a third goal for Liverpool, only for the effort to be ruled out for an offside from Szoboszlai in the build-up. The Reds would go on to maintain their two-goal lead and move 11 points clear of Arsenal at the top of the table, having played one game more. Here, the ECHO takes a look at Liverpool’s upcoming Premier League fixtures compared to their title rivals.
