Manchester United dropped Premier League points for the 18th time this season after drawing 2-2 away to Everton.
The Red Devils suffered another humiliating result after two first-half goals from Beto (19′) and Abdoulaye Doucoure (33′) set the tone for the afternoon. Failure to hit back before the break saw Manchester United go 17 games without scoring in the first half.
Bruno Fernandes and Manuel Ugarte did rescue a point in the second half for Ruben Amorim, though.
Result aside, following another poor showing in what has been an awful season, we have looked at the Red Devils’ three worst players on the day.

Man United’s three worst players against Everton
The hardest thing about highlighting Manchester United’s worst players was picking just three.
3. Casemiro
Casemiro may have confirmed he wants to stay at Manchester United recently, but the Brazilian will be lucky to wear the red shirt again.
It is clear his days at the very top are numbered, and he is certainly not good enough for the Premier League. The former Real Madrid man was bullied by Everton’s industrious midfield and made to look like an amateur.
Casemiro vs Everton | Statistic |
Minutes played | 62′ |
Key passes | 0 |
Total tackles | 6 |
Possession lost | 10 |
Casemiro was put out of his misery after 62 minutes and subbed off for Alejandro Garnacho.
2. Harry Maguire
Despite being one of Amorim’s most trusted defenders, Harry Maguire, who has featured in 16 of the United manager’s 22 games in charge, put in a woeful performance at Goodison Park.
The English centre-back was second-best to everything and was largely at fault for Doucoure’s first-half goal. The former captain failed to jump high enough to clear the ball following some haphazard goalkeeping from Andre Onana.

If the most central centre-back in Amorim’s back three puts in many more performances like the one he did against Everton, fans should expect even more punishment.
1. Andre Onana
Unsurprisingly, Onana completes our list of Manchester United’s worst three players.
The Cameroon international, like the rest of the team, was under pressure from the first whistle. He failed to organise his defence, and, as mentioned above, played a huge part in the Toffees’ second.
The former Inter Milan shot-stopper came off his line to stop Jack Harrison’s strike, only to push the ball high into the air and invite an en-rushing header.
And the United number one did similar late on in the match. Although Andrew Madley reversed his on-field decision to award Everton, Onana didn’t cover himself in glory in the lead-up.
Saving a driven strike from Idrissa Gueye, the 28-year-old once again pushed the ball back into the danger zone, putting his teammates under unnecessary pressure.
It’s no wonder Amorim has promoted youngster Elyh Harrison to the Manchester United first team.
